Assassin droids were droids constructed for the purpose of killing sentient beings on behalf of crime lords, corrupt politicians, and bounty hunters.

A player claimed that this droid could be found in the Droid Engineer's Cave on Lok. [3]

The following claims were made regarding this NPC [4]:

"Hey, I ran into an assassin droid on Corellia today (-1639, -15). I was alone so I didn't dare attack it. I found him (it) at a droid graveyard so I'm wondering if he is guarding something."

"I just went to the Droid Grave Yard near Kor Vella and killed the IG assassin droid. He didn't put up much of a fight. Actually he kept running away, and I had to run him down to kill him. He didn't have any loot and I cant find anything of interest at the droid grave yard."

"I too have seen the one at the droid graveyard on Corellia."

"I ran into one on Tatt way out in nowhere land. Was with someone called Valarian's Assassin. The droid was next to him."

"There is one by Fort Tusken on Tatooine."

"I saw one on Tattoine also. He was just a short walk west of Tusken Radier fortress, in the dune desert."

"I saw one out east of Theed. It was just out in the middle of no where, nothing was around it so i didn't mess with it."

"There are a bunch of them in volcano on Lok."

"Yea, I have only come across one IG droid. I was kind of bored at the time so I attacked it. He didn't even try to put up a fight. All he did was run so I chased after him and finally brought him down but I didn't get any exp. for killing him. I tried to loot his corpse but didn't get anything."
