Black Sun held a massive amount of reach and influence, extending its tendrils of corruption deep in the various galactic governments of each era. It was infamous for its involvement in piracy and smuggling. But smuggling was just the tip of the iceberg of the galaxy-wide organization. It was involved in every known type of illegal activity; its information networks surpassed even the accuracy and scope of Imperial Intelligence.

Bounty Hunter Boots, Biceps [9], DE-10 Barrel [13]

A player said that he got Bounty Hunter Leggings from this NPC on Dathomir just south of the Prison. [11] He claimed that at server reset, the area was "crawling" with Black Sun NPCs.

One player claimed that fighting these NPCs at close range was best because using melee, they hit like "pansies." Another says that it is difficult to "stick a state, KD or posture down" one of these (as compared to the Henchman and Thug NPCs. Another states that this NPC is the only one who uses a pistol as the Thugs, Henchmen, etc. will use rifles. One player claimed that these NPCs don't like to melee for very long. A player claimed that Bounty Hunter missions for a "Black Sun Assassin" are not the same and do not drop the same loot.[8] NPCs at 0,0 Endor do not drop loot.[10]

A player claimed that this NPC drops better armor pieces but that Black Sun Guards drop them more often.
