8.4. Incapacitation And Death
Your player-character is only vulnerable to death after one or more of your HAM bars reach 0. At this point, you are incapacitated. You will fall to the ground and won' t be able to move or perform any actions until all attributes that have dropped below 0 regenerate. Many creatures and enemies will be content to leave you unconscious on the ground, but others will opt to deliver a fatal deathblow. When this deathblow occurs, your character is technically dead and is removed from the battle.

NOTE: Your avatar will also die if your character is incapacitated three times within any ten-minute span.
