Game MechanicsAfter a player has selected the type of npc, droid or terminal that they wish to create, they are then prompted to enter a name for the vendor. Players can enter up to 118 characters for a vendor name however only 39 characters will display. Players are also restricted to using only characters in the alphabet (a-z). No numerical or non alphabetic characters are allowed in a vendor name. Another restriction on naming comes in profanity regulations. Profane words or phrases are not allowed. Source References
