Auto-Repair Module Mechanics

Auto-repair modules give a droid the ability to repair a set amount of droid damage to itself and any other droid within 30 meters. The Auto-Repair rating is the amount of damage that the droid will repair every 10 seconds. The Auto-Repair Module has an on/off toggle that is located in the Droids radial. While active, every 10 seconds a healing symbol will be seen passing over your droid. The Droid will heal for the number of points that it is rated for. While this module is toggled on, it will drain the battery charge faster than the standard 4 hour rate. Use of this module reduces the battery life to 2 hpurs, from 4 hour.

To use the Auto-Repair Module, simply use the Auto-repair On/Off option in the radial menu on the droid. Additionally the droid can be programmed to use a voice or tellpet command to initiate a repair. Droids with repair modules operate off of the Trick Two command. Players may customize their own command string for this.

example :

  • Your Droid with a repair module is still named 'Bob' and you programmed the 'repair' command with 'Bob repair'.
  • You target the Droid to repair.
  • You type 'Bob repair' (the owner of the damaged Droid doesn't need to consent or to be in you group).
  • Your Droid will then go brievly towards the targeted Droid, then a '*repaired*' will appear over the repaired Droid's head and in your Chat Window, meaning repairing was successfull.
