Here is a strategy for taking the terror out of decision-making. Just take that long list of possibilities. Say there are 15 items onto it, and you've never done any one of them before. 

Once you have examined all the items on the record, do this: Decide if all the items are ACTUALLY about equal. Cross these off, if there are any that obviously do not measure up. You'll nevertheless be left with lots of choices. 

Let's say you are left with only 10 items on your list. 

Take out a new sheet of paper. 

Write item number one about it, the first item from your original number. 

Okay, that's it. That's your new listing of choices - just one product. 

We've already agreed that most the choices are far more or less similar. 

So now you have got your action plan. One piece. No further indecision. 

Now just go take action.
