There is a HAM cost to toss a trap. It is in action. Go check. (wait, action, where my specials as pistoleer come from... specials...traps....) Again, granted it's small, but there is a cost.
traps are unable to kill creature by itself.
He is right. But the trap itself is unable to kill the creature. It will only take it down to 1 mind.
