The 75% PvP damage reduction applies, but the area-effect blast seems to bypass defense mods. PvP damage from mouse droids is reported to range 250-650 depending on the droid's rating and the target's armor and blast resistance. PvE targets usually take 4 digit damage. | The 75% PvP damage reduction applies, but the area-effect blast seems to bypass defense mods. Detonation Module Usage MechanicsUsable by a Novice Smuggler or Bounty Hunter, this module can turn any droid into a Bomb. At Novice Smuggler and bount hunter you get the command '/detonateDroid' ('/det' also works just fine). This droid bomb will only affect those that can be targeted in combat. To use, the /detonatedroid command must be issued to the droid. Only novice smugglers and bounty hunters will be able to see the Detonate Droid radials and use the detonatedroid command. Using Detonation ModuleThe detonation module can be used in a number of ways:
1. Get within 16 meters of the droid.
Command Line Option 1 1. Get within 90 meters of the droid Command Line Option 2 1. Get within 90 meters of the droid Example: if the droids name is benny /detonatedroid (benny)
Anything that you can target and is capable of moving. Thus overt enemy players, vehicles, and critters of all kinds are in. Lairs and turrets are out. You do NOT get any exp for the things you kill. This module will not affect Creature lairs, but will affect Turrets. If the droid is disabled while the countdown is in process, the timer shuts down. The entire droid, including datapad listing is destroyed when used. A droid with a Detonation Module will cause approximately 175 points of Blast damage per 1 point of rating. The 75% PvP damage reduction applies, but the area-effect blast seems to bypass defense mods. PvP damage from mouse droids is reported to range 250-650 depending on the droid's rating and the target's armor and blast resistance. PvE targets usually take 4 digit damage.
Can it be stopped? You cannot cancel the order once the timer starts, but if the droid is incapped before it explodes, the timer will stop. (So in essence, your enemy can stop it). It is reported that you can re-issue the detonate command to an incapped droid and the timer will start over and explode. Naturally the droid will explode in place (since it is incapped, it can no longer move). You can certainly repair your droid from the incapped state and send it on the chase again.
1. Get the droid out. This can be done ahead of time just like any other pet, or can be done during combat from a deed if you have a deed in your inventory. You cannot pull them from the crate during combat though. Although you cannot issue the /det command prone, you CAN get a bomb bot out from a deed while prone or feigned, so you can issue the command as soon as you stand. 2. You need to target the droid at some point to issue the detonation command; /tellpet group works well here. Then you can click on the droid from your group list. Otherwise, if your droid has a good name, you can use /target with the droid's name. 3. Issue the detonate command to start the sequence. 4. Send it on the chase... /tellpet follow works well here.
