You cannot cancel the order once the timer starts, but if the droid is incapped before it explodes, the timer will stop. (So in essence, your enemy can stop it). The droid cannot be detonated after it has been disabled. Naturally the droid will explode in place (since it is incapped, it can no longer move). You can certainly repair your droid from the incapped state and send it on the chase again.

1. Get the droid out. This can be done ahead of time just like any other pet, or can be done during combat from a deed if you have a deed in your inventory. You cannot pull them from the crate during combat though. Although you cannot issue the /det command prone, you CAN get a bomb bot out from a deed while prone or feigned, so you can issue the command as soon as you stand.
2. You need to target the droid at some point to issue the detonation command; /tellpet group works well here. Then you can click on the droid from your group list. Otherwise, if your droid has a good name, you can use /target with the droid's name.
Detonation Module Usage Mechanics

Usable by a Novice Smuggler or Bounty Hunter, this module can turn any droid into a Bomb. At Novice Smuggler and bounty hunter you get the command '/detonateDroid'.This droid bomb will only affect those that can be targeted in combat. The /detonatedroid command must be issued to the droid. Smugglers and bounty hunters also gain access to being able to view Detonate Droid radials on droids with detonatino modules installed. Only novice smugglers and bounty hunters will be able to use the Detonate Droid radials and the detonatedroid command.

Using Detonation Module

The detonation module can be used in a number of ways:

Radial Menu

1. Get within 16 meters of the droid.
2. Click "Detonate Droid" option on the radial.

Command Line Option 1

1. Get within 90 meters of the droid
2. Target the droid
3. Issue /detonatedroid command

Command Line Option 2

1. Get within 90 meters of the droid
2. Issue /detonatedroid (droidname) command.

Example: if the droids name is benny

/detonatedroid (benny)

Exploding a droid will naturally eliminate the droid from the datapad. You cannot issue the detonation command while feigned or prone. After a 3 second count down, that can be seen by anyone in the area, the droid bomb will detonate, affecting all viable targets within a 17 meter blast area. This damage is spread randomly across the targets HAM bars, but will generally affect Health most often. Line of sight is not required when activating the droid detonation sequence. Players cannot cancel the order once the timer starts, but if the droid is incapped before it explodes, the timer will stop. (So in essence, the enemy can stop it). The droid cannot be detonated after it has been disabled. Players can repair the droid from the incapacitated state and send it on the chase again.

Armor and PvP damage reduction applies to all damage taken. A droid with a Detonation Module will cause approximately 175 points of Blast damage per 1 point of rating. The 75% PvP damage reduction applies, but the area-effect blast seems to bypass defense modifiers. PvP damage from mouse droids is reported to range 250-650 depending on the droid's rating and the target's armor and blast resistance. PvE targets usually take 4 digit damage. Creatures and NPCs and players are viable targets for detonation modules. Innanimate objects such as structures (except turrets) or lairs are not viable targets. Players do NOT gain any exp for the things killed through a detonation module explosion.

Potential Exploit/Bug notifications

 • You must manually damage your target in order to gain XP and the ability to loot. If you do not, you will not be given credit for the 'kill'. If you care about looting rights, make sure you do at least 1 pt of damage on your own before the target dies (if the droid does all the damage and the NPC dies, you will NOT get looting rights...

 • Most creatures won't aggro you if you are more then 90m away from them when you detonate the droid...
 • Droids/pets can all be immediately summoned through using the pet deed. This allows for indefinite calling of these droids to be used in combat. Under normal circumstances, pets arent allowed to be called in combat and this makes the situation where an individual may call out a number of bomb droids to attack a single (or a group) of players with impunity.
