SWG NPCs - A Nightsister rancor tamer

SWGANH Wiki is a repository of Star Wars Galaxies Developer information. This site is only meant to be used by SWGANH Developer team.

Details

The Nightsisters were a group of Dathomiri Witches (usually exiled from one of the other clans) who used the dark side of the Force. Though they used the dark side, their powers and abilities were quite different from the Sith Lords, which caused confusion among Jedi scholars as to who or what they really were.

Around the time of their defeat, their leader was Gethzerion, who endlessly terrorized the other Dathomiri Witch clans.

A Nightsister Lance [7] and a Damage Crystal [11] were listed as being looted from this NPC.

This NPC is part of Fath H'ray's first mission at the Nightsister Stronghold on Dathomir. The NPC is escorted from the field back to Fath. [3][4][6][9]

A player claimed to have encountered one of these NPCs "-440, 3070 which is about 1000 meters west of Trade Outpost (Dathomir)." [5]

A player claimed that one of these NPCs was located "in the west of the stronghold - she sends you to the rancor cave - that cave is not a POI" apparently as a herald. [8]

A player claimed that there was a herald at the following location: +0541 +4187 Whodai Agothee (a Nightsister rancor tamer) : Herald for "Mutant Rancor Cave" [14]

A player claimed that "There was a Nightsister Rancor Tamer and three Nightsister Rancors about 100 meters away from the object. I'd say the object was about 20 feet in height and at least 25 feet on each side, forming a triangle of sorts." [12][13] This object is very likely at -500 -2900 on Dathomir (screenshot #236 on my POI list.)

According to Zina's Essential Nightsister Hunting Guide v2.01 [10], "Nightsisters always spawn in sets of 5, unless someone bugged the spawn. The only exception to this, is a Nightsister Rancor Tamer. They tend to spawn with three Nightsister Rancors, for a total of 4 in the spawn including the Rancor Tamer." "Nightsister Initiates, Rancor Tamers Sentinels, Spellweavers, Protectors, Elders spawn in 5's and the spawn can be any combination of the Nightsisters Listed here: The combinations here are random. Its rare to see Rancor Tamers to spawn with the others listed, but it does occur. Typically, if an Elder spawns, she will be accompanied by 4 other Nightsisters which will not include second Elder. However, again, it is possible to see two Elders in one spawn. Elders have the potential to drop the highest end loot out of all the Nightsisters, however they are the most dangerous and have the most ham."
