Recyclers are objects that take crates of different resources and mix these into a crate of generic class resources which can be used by any crafting schematic that allows a generic class to be used. Generic resource classes include:

Organics

  • Hide
  • Meat
  • Bone
  • Horn
  • Seafood
  • Milk
  • Cereal
  • Vegetables
  • Wood

Inorganics

  • Water
  • Chemical
  • Solid Petrochemical Fuel
  • Radioactive
  • Low Grade Ore
  • Gemstone
  • Iron
  • Steel
  • Copper

How do I use a recycler?

A recycler is easy to use:

You must have it in your inventory

The inventory must not be full

At its radial menu, choose a generic resource class

Drag and drop your resource crates onto its icon

A crate of recycled stuff is put in your inventory
