System MessagesSUI PromptsGame MechanicsTaxes are means for player cities to collect funds to add to the city treasury. Taxes are managed from the city management terminal and all tax information is public and can be seen there.
There are five types of tax the Mayor can collect:
Managing TaxesNovice Politicians can add taxes to a city when the city has reached rank 2 or above. To add taxes, a politician must use the city management terminal and select the Adjust Taxes radial menu. Players can view the current tax rate and type through two methods. The first is by using the City Info radial menu under the city management terminal and then viewing the information through the Status Report window. The second means is to use the Treasury Report radial option and view the tax rate information in the sui window. Source References
