Case point. Melee speed = major noticeable effects + completely useful. Melee defence = noticeable effects + completely useful. Persuasion = 20% off training fees (in the combat + loot driven game that SWG is, that's pointless). non aligned NPCs will help you in fights. (In reality, they will simply take the looing rights... by the time you're force sensitive, how much combat help do we really need? Me? None in PvE) It's more of a joke to watch large firefights by dragging an aggro mob into a huge pack of stormies or rebels.
