The Max Rating for a single module is 20, with a combined max total of 120, on the Advanced R3 unit. The amount of resource that is harvested by your droid is determined by the DIFFERENCE between the droid's harvest rating and your own (which can be checked in the Skills Window using Ctrl+S). As long as the droid has a higher rating, it will give you a harvest bonus. The greater the difference, the greater the bonus. If the droid has a lower rating, it will harvest less resource than you could if you were doing it yourself. This also means that as you advance in your harvesting skills, the droid will harvest fewer bonus resources. |

Creature Harvest Module Usage MechanicsUsable by a Novice Scout or above, this module allows you to harvest meat, bone, or hide off of a creature corpse.
First, you should know a few details about droids in general: Each player is allowed to hold 5 droids in his/her datapad. This includes your starter droid, so if you find he’s worn out his usefulness, you may want to delete him if you find you need more droid help down the road. The function of a droid is based upon what modules are installed in it. Modules are very similar to ship components. Each droid chassis has a set number of modules that can go in the droid. In general, the more advanced the droid, the more modules it can hold. The Advanced R3 has the highest module capacity with space for 6 functional modules. Whenever a droid is out (called), it uses up battery power. This ONLY affects the function of modules that actually need power to work. Even with 0% battery power, a droid can still be called & stored, and it will still follow you around. Both of the modules discussed below require the droid to have 10% or more battery power to be used.
1) The droid can harvest resources while you are in combat so that you can continue fighting. This is especially handy when you’re fighting large groups of creatures that take a while to kill. No longer will a corpse disappear before you have the chance to harvest it. 2) Depending on the harvest rating on the droid (see below), you can get a bonus on the amount of resource that is harvested. The benefit of this should be immediately obvious. 3) The droid can be told to harvest corpses that are at a distance (max. 64m) so that you don’t have to run all over the battlefield to get your resources.
These numbers are based upon the following fomula provided by Lukos in the following thread. Droid Harvest Rating / ( 3.55 * ( 1+ Player Character Skill Rating / 100 )
Using The ModuleA Novice Scout will have an option on the droids radial called 'Harvest Options'. In this menu, two options are available -
