Easy enough. When you clone and then later die, you should be presented with two options.
1. Clone at nearest facility.
2. Clone at Pre-Designated facility.
Option 1 should be available regardless of whether or not you clone, and may also be the only choice if the pre-designated location is ALSO the closest.
Option 2 will be available when you are closer to another facility but paid to clone elsewhere on the same planet.
When you clone at a pre-designated facility (or closest if it is also the pre-designated) you avoid taking wounds as a result of dying (any wounds suffered prior to dying will still be present). The amount and severity of the wounds you take for cloning at a non-designated facility can be affected by your battle fatigue. The more BF you have the worse the wounds will be.
Hope this helps.
