Defense acuity is used by TKA because we don't have dodge/block/counterattack. Our Defense Acuity activates instead to evade attacks. When DA activates it randomly blocks, dodges, or counterattacks. It uses the Defense Acuity bonus (and ONLY that bonus) to determine how often it works.
