Incapacitation Messages
Incapacitation is the state that players are placed in when any of their ham bar's reaches a value of 0. When a player's ham bar reaches 0 they are effectively knocked out of action for a period of time and are unable to perform and commands that use their character's abilities. The incapacitation timer appears to be determined based on the regeneration rate of a player compared to the amount of damage they have taken. As as an example, a player who is at 1 health before being hit for a hit that does 100 damage will now have -100 health following being hit. The player is now incapacitated and their re-capacitation timer will be the duration that it takes for them to regenerate back to 1 health point from -100 using their character's current secondary stats for regeneration.
Note: As of publish 13, soe reduced incapacitation times by 50% so this implies that the current incapacitation time as of 14 is based off of the character's stat regen duration divided by 2.
While incapacitated, a player can be deathblowed by a mob or player, meaning actually killed and forced to clone. A player may also die due to incapacitation if they become incapacitated 3 times within a period of 10 minutes.
There are various niche rules that apply to incapacitated players, which are as follows:
- 1. Dots (fire, poison & disease) cannot incapacitate the target. If a given dot pulse would reduce the target to less than one, the pool is instead taken down to 1.
- 2. Players cannot incapacitate themselves with the effects from their own abilities (tka power boost, wookiee roar, specials, etc)
- 3. Buffs and debuff effects (including foods and spices) are not supposed to incapacitate players once their effects wear off.
