Auto-Repair Module Mechanics

Auto-repair modules give a droid the ability to repair a set amount of droid damage to itself and any other droid within 32 meters. The Auto-Repair rating is the amount of damage that the droid will repair every 10 seconds. Auto-Repair modules can repair up to 25 points of damage per module added to the droid for a total of 150 repair points per 10 second cycle to all Grouped friendly player droids in the area. The amount of repair points per module of course is limited to the quality rating of the component.

The Auto-Repair Module has an on/off toggle that is located in the Droids radial. While active, every 10 seconds a healing symbol will be seen passing over your droid. The Droid will heal for the number of points that it is rated for. While this module is toggled on, it will drain the battery charge faster than the standard 4 hour rate. Use of this module reduces the battery life to 2 hours, from 4 hour.

To use the Auto-Repair Module, simply use the Auto-repair On/Off option in the radial menu on the droid. Additionally the droid can be programmed to use a voice or /tellpet command to initiate a repair. Droids with repair modules operate off of the Do Trick Two label. The default command for "conversation" droids such as protocols, LE and surgical models is "repair" which is situation by the Do Trick Two label in the command list and datapad. Other droids are programed using standard methods with the Program menu. To begin programming the droid, the player must open the Program menu, then select the Repair Other Droid option. Following this the player may then use a command string, which will appear by Do Trick Two in the droid command list and datapad for the droid. Players may customize their own command string for this.
