The destruction of a faction base requires a number of key professions to operate together to use terminals through out the structure. One of these terminals is the Security Terminal which involves the use of smugglers with teh Slicing 1 skill trained to be able to get the option to slice them. The criteria that a player must meet and the procedure to follow to complete their portion of this task is as follows:

  • You must be Declared (with a faction) and set as a Combatant (PvE enabled) to Slice a terminal in a PvE base and set as Special Forces (PvP enabled) to slice a PvP base.
  • After the Bounty Hunter jams the Uplink Terminal, and only if they are successful, then you Slice the security terminal.
  • If a slicing attempt fails, a Repair option will appear on the terminal and after a repair is performed, there is a 2 minute wait period before the terminal can be sliced again.
