Droid Armor Module Usage Mechanics

Droid Armor ranges from 4 - 20% resists and can be installed on all Advanced model droids as well as a number of basic model droids. Droid Armor automatically protects against all damage types, except for Lightsaber.

  • Known Issue* The resistance rating will appear to change to 40% after the droid is stored and then recalled the first time. This is a display issue only and does not represent the true resist rating. The rating that the droid has during the first call is the true resist rating.

The armor module rating attribute is carried over into the Defensive sockets and when it is time to assemble the droid deed itself, it is converted into resistance percentages on the final droid deed item attributes. The resistance attributes offered to the droid fall under the general effectiveness category of armor resistances and include kinetic, energy, blast, stun, restraint (no longer found on items), heat, cold, acid and electricity. The only vulnerability for the droid is to lightsaber damage type.
