as far as I am aware it depends how much you were overkilled by. If you have 99 health and are hit for 100 you get up with a couple of seconds. if the final blow takes you to - 500 you will be on your back for a few mins.

Far from just a random timer... It is based off of the wounds you currently have as well as the last damage amount that hit you. That is why sometimes it can be 45 seconds and sometimes it cab be 100+ seconds.

Yep, I rarely if ever are incapped for longer than a minute or so. Usually even less. Keep your self healed and dont get mauled and you have less incap time. Not sure what the exact formula is but I think the above poster is correct, or close to it

get your regen stats up, im a trandoshan, i have excellent health regen(unfortuantly CRAP action/mind), i also have a special trandoshan only abilitiy called regeneration which is a temporary 250 point con buff. If i pop regeneration before getting health incaped im up in a few seconds, the incap bar litterally takes chunks of 'seconds' off at a time. So if you raise your regen stats your incap time goes down a lot. Even without regeneration my health incap time is usually 40-50 seconds, i get incaped from action, where my regen stat is MAXED at 400 its usally over 100 seconds.

Incap seems to go alot faster if your regen stats are nice and high your incap just flys by. Spices are your friend. Gona get mind incaped take a Muron Gold + 500 to Mind Focus and Will. you will be down for few seconds and hop back up
