Manning The Structure

The /registerWithLocation (or /register) command allows dancers, doctors and musicians to register with an inactive location on the planetary map, and have it show as active, or ‘manned’. Players can register with a location by typing /registerWithLocation while inside the structure. Once the last person who has registered with a location leaves the structure, the system will set the location to inactive.

To view the status of a location, open up your Planetary Map. (Ctrl-V) On the right hand side, click on the folder for the type of location you want to visit (Cantina, Hotel, Medical Center or Theater) On the expanded list of locations, you will notice a sun or moon symbol next to the name of the location. The sun symbol means that at least one player has registered there, and is available or ‘on duty’. The moon symbol means that no one has currently registered at that location.

I have also hear rumors that you gain a healing bonus by registering with a medical center (even a 25% bonus in a detachment HQ), but I have not confirmed this.
