Description Deep within the Western Dune Seas of Tatooine is the legendary Pit of Carkoon. The pit is home to a deadly Sarlacc, a legendary monster which takes up to a millenia to assimilate it's victims, keeping them alive until they have been completely digested. Tusken Raider legend believes that the Sarlacc had created itself in the days of legend when the twin suns of Tatooine had split apart. The legend continues to say that the Sarlacc would consume everything until it was finally forced to consume itself, thereby perpetuating a cycle of death and rebirth. The pit itself is approximately 2.5 meters in diameter and features only the mouth of the creature. The pit is always open, ready to catch a stray meal. If one a being is sensed near the pit the Sarlacc, it's tentacles can help to pull it in. The area around the pit is extremely steep to prevent victims from climbing out once grabbed.
