In the FAQ [1] if you scroll down to a post titled, "Carbineer PVP guide," there is a section named, "some common stuff." In the part named, "Know Mitigation," it alludes to the idea that 50m is the maximum range of a carbine. I have been trying to find some supporting information on this (for pistols and rifles as well) but it's been difficult to find information about that.
