Game Mechanics Vendor registration is an ability available to merchant players with the Advertising III skill trained. Players who have this skill trained have a radial option called Register Vendor made available to their vendor under the Vendor Control radial menu. What register vendor does, is to allow players to have their vendor placed into the Planetary Map's Vendor Listing. The planetary map listing is a list of vendors placed in categories and sorted by item type. When a player selects the Register vendor option, they will be prompted by the Subcategory Window which allows them to pick which category they wish their vendor to be listed under so that players may find it more easily. Players can only have one category per vendor, but they may re-register the vendor again to change the category. Re-registering is limited to being able to change the vendor category only once every 24 hours. When a vendor is registered on the planetary map, it adds a 6 credit per hour additional fee to the base maintenance rate of the vendor. Source References Source Source in Context
