− | There are currently 13 different types of droids in the game | + | There are currently 13 different types of droids in the game. Seeker Droids, Arakyd Probe Droids, and Interplanetary Survey Droids are multi-use items. All of the standard 13 different types of droids are broken down into your basic model and your Advanced model. Each droid model has a certain number of droid modules that can be installed. The following is a list of each droid model. The listing includes the basic and Advanced number of modules that can be installed, the number of armor modules that can be installed - if any - and whether or not the model can except a Personality Chip. The maximum HAM value is listed for all combat droids. |

+ | This attribute appears on droids and pets that have been given a special name by the owner through the use of command training or by having been randomly assigned a name by the system; ex. Joe Blow (a rebel Gunner). This works similar to how the Variation Of attribute works in that if the original name of the object or pet is changed then this attribute is assigned to display the base originating form. For example an R2 unit that has been named "Clicky" would display "Type: an R2 Unit" upon examination by the owner or by another player. | ||

Droid Model MechanicsThere are currently 13 different types of droids in the game.
1) a CLL-8 binary load lifter ( Screenshot ) The Advanced BLL has room for 3 non-combat modules and up to 3 armor modules. The Basic BLL only has room for 1 armor module and 0 non-combat modules, at this time. (1200-1400 HAM. Source: prima guide)
(800-3200 HAM. Source: DE guide) The Basic DZ70 has room for 1 module and 0 armor. The Advanced DZ70 has room for 2 modules and 1 armor module. Both models are combat ready, however at least 1 combat module is required to produce more than 1 point of damage per attack. The Max damage range for a basic model is 112 - 118 and 129 - 136 for the Advanced model.
(1500-6000 HAM. Source: DE guide) The Basic LE Repair Droid has room for 2 modules and 1 armor module. The Advanced version has room for 3 modules and 1 armor module. A Personality chip can be installed on this droid. The Max damage of the basic model is 61 - 75, while the Max damage for the Advanced model is 69 - 85. The LE is a Melee combat only droid and makes an excellent tank due to its high HAM.
(45-55 HAM. Source: prima guide) The Basic MSE has room for 1 module and 0 armor. The Advanced version has room for 2 modules and 1 armor. The MSE offers a bonus to any Detonation modules that are installed of +10 per detonation module.
(45-55 HAM. Source: prima guide) The Basic Power Droid has room for 1 module and 0 armor. The Advanced version has room for 1 module and 1 armor. The Power Droid has the special ability to recharge other droids. This can be done by targeting another droid and issuing the Recharge command.
(800-3200 HAM. Source: DE guide) The Basic Probot has room for 3 modules and 1 armor module. The Advanced Probot has room for 5 modules and 2 armor modules. Both models are combat ready, however at least 1 combat module is required to produce more than 1 point of damage per attack. The Max damage range for a basic model is 147 - 155 and 182 - 191 for the Advanced model.
7) a 3PO protocol droid ( Screenshot ) (45-55 HAM. Source: prima guide) The Basic Protocol Droid has room for 1 module and 0 armor. The Advanced version has room for 2 modules and 1 armor module. A Personality chip can be installed on this droid.

9) an R3 unit ( Screenshot, Screenshot ) (1125-4500 HAM. Source: DE guide) The Basic R3 Unit has room for 3 modules and 1 armor module. The Advanced version has room for 6 modules and 2 armor modules. The Max damage of the basic model is 135 - 150, while the Max damage for the Advanced model is 160 - 170. The R3 Unit can fight in Melee and Ranged Combat.
10) an R4 unit ( Screenshot ) (1125-4500 HAM. Source: DE guide) The Basic R4 Unit has room for 1 module and 0 armor. The Advanced version has room for 3 modules and 2 armor modules. Do Trick One: (default command to power droids) This atribute appears only on power droids and is one of the default commands granted. Using this command will notifiy the droid to give a recharge to the designated target droid. Not sure what the default command for this is but it could be "play" See Droid Commands for more information. For more information about droid power consumption see Droid Power Usage, Droid Commands.
Do Trick Two: (default command to repair and auto-repair droids) This attribute appears on any droid that is equipped with a Repair module or Auto Repair module. Note that during pre-cu this seemed to cause a conflict in that a player that equipped both an auto-repair module and a repair module could not use the droid due to a conflict in programming since both modules activated off the same command. Perhaps we should add an additional trick for droids such as Do Trick Three or Do Trick Four. Not sure what the default command for this is but it could be "play"
