Game Mechanics

In order to collect resources, every harvester has a storage hopper. The storage hopper is essentially a unique container that stores any type of resource that the harvester may have collected during its operation. Storage hopper sizes determine how many resources a particular harvester can keep before it is forced to shut down.

When items are produced from a factory, they come out as factory crates (or deeds as is the case for some items). Factory Item output are stored in another 100 unit container called the Output hopper. The output hopper stores these items until the player collects them from it. Items cannot be inserted into the output hopper as it only allows for items to be removed.

Note: Structures without schematics loaded will only have Three Radial Options on the Options radial menu listing. Structures with a schematic loaded will have Six Radial Options.

Managing Input Hopper

To access the Input Hopper, the player must go to the Options radial menu and select the Access Station Ingredients Hopper option. Following doing this, a Container Window will open up listing the current contents of the factory. Items can be added to the hopper by clicking on the item from the player's inventory, dragging and dropping it into the hopper container. To remove items, the player must click on the item in the hopper and choose the Pick Up radial option.

Managing Output Hopper

To access the Output Hopper, the player must go to the Options radial menu and select the Access Station Output Hopper option. Following doing this, a Container Window will open up listing the current contents of the factory. To remove items, the player must click on the item in the hopper and choose the Pick Up radial option.
