Dead Eye Prototype Experimentation Mechanics

The Dead Eye Prototype item uses medicine experimentation and medicine assembly modifiers to affect the experimentation results. These items are crafted using a generic crafting tool or a food and chemical tool.

These items have 2 lines of experimentation available.

2. Experimental Effectiveness



The Experimental Charges line depends on 66% OQ and 33% UT. Experimentation on this line will increase the number of uses on this item. (uses are seen on the item in inventory)

The Experimental Effectiveness line has two experimental properties. The first experimental property is Duration. Duration depends on 60% DR and 40% OQ. Experimenting on the Experimental Effectiveness line will increase the Duration attribute on these items. The second experimental property is Power. Power deneds on 66% OQ and 33% PE. Experimenting on the Experimental Effectiveness line will increase the Effectiveness attribute on these items.

Item Attributes

Variation Of:


This attribute spawns on any item that has had its base type name changed. For player crafted items this type change occurs when the player renames the item from the default given one. The name change can occur automatically as the player chooses a particular style for the item during the customization process or by manually renaming the item in the name field. After changing the name the item now indicates that it is a variation of the specific type that it originated as.

Volumn:

Represents the current container contents of the Item.

Object Creator:

This attribute appears only on crafted items or looted components. The crafter's name is listed here.

Serial Number:

This attribute only appears on crafted items. This represents the alphanumeric code given to the item.

Effectiveness:


The Effectiveness attribute indicates the amount, as a percentage, that the item will boost a player's accuracy and chance to hit by.


Duration:


The Duration attribute indicates the amount of time in minutes, and seconds, that the item will give the player the bonus to their accuracy.
