Attribute appears on the finally assembly of droid deeds for All droids, however only Protocol, LE-Repair and Surgical model droids can have a specialized chip to offer conversation dialog options. This attribute signifies that the droid will have a distinct personality when entered into a conversation , of which is chosen from 6 types. If no personality chip is installed into the droid then it will be given a default type, which is the default radial options available to droids to learn commands and their built in modular functions.

Droid Personality Chip Mechanics

Items Affected

1. Geeky Droid Personality Chip
2. Prissy Droid Personality Chip
3. Sarcastic Droid Personality Chip
4. Slang Droid Personality Chip
5. Stupid Droid Personality Chip
6. Worshipful Droid Personality Chip

Experimentation Lines

Each of the Personality Chips has two lines of experimentation

1. Experimental Durability
2. Experimental Effectiveness

Durability and Effectiveness experimentation are dependent on 50% OQ and 50% CD. Experimentation on either line does not appear to effect any of the Personality Chips, since the only attribute that is affected is the Mechanism Quality. Mechanism Quality is linked to Experimental Effectiveness. The quality of the Electronics modules does not appear to matter.

Personally, I tend to avoid experimenting on hand crafted components and use the above mentioned 3 step macro to craft a few parts. When I create factory runs on these modules, I will experiment on the part until it has a Mechanism Quality rating of 0 or slightly higher. I suggest that you use Bulk resources when producing all components

General Item Attributes

Variation Of:

This attribute spawns on any item that has had its base type name changed. For player crafted items this type change occurs when the player renames the item from the default given one. The name change can occur automatically as the player chooses a particular style for the item during the customization process or by manually renaming the item in the name field. After changing the name the item now indicates that it is a variation of the specific type that it originated as.

For more information about the Variation Of attribute, see General Item Mechanics

Volumn:

Represents the current container contents of the Item.

For more information about volumn counts, see Inventory Mechanics

Object Creator:

This attribute appears only on crafted items or looted components. The crafter's name is listed here.

General Item Mechanics, and General Crafting Mechanics for more information about Serial numbers

Serial Number:

This attribute only appears on crafted items. This represents the alphanumeric code given to the item.

See General Item Mechanics, Using Schematics and General Crafting Mechanics for more information about Serial numbers

Mechanism Quality:

Attribute that appears on many droid components. This is believed to have no effect on droid stats or other functions.

See Droid Engineer for more information.
